Finally a new Eels album I can really get behind.
The reviews are little too kind (it's not Electro-Shock Blues) but it is way better than his last two efforts. I'd easily put it on par with Daisies of the Galaxy. I'm sure I'll really fall in love with it over the next few days. I already can't stop listening to if you see natalie and trouble with dreams.
Also check out the iTunes B-Sides collection. Some gems. Dog's Life is fantastic.

I'm almost through disc one and I agree-- the reviews are a little on the too-glowing side. But there are really great moments. (And I back you on the "Dog's Life" love.)
